Princess Kate sends heart-warming letter to Irish Guards after missing Trooping the Colour rehearsal in cancer recovery

Princess Kate sent a heartfelt letter to the Irish Guards today to apologize for missing the Colonel’s Review during her cancer recovery.

The regiment, of which the royal is Colonel-in-Chief, shared a video this morning showing the note being read out to troops as they prepared for today’s precursor to Trooping the Colour.

She expressed that her role as Colonel “remains a great honor,” adding: “I am very sorry that I’m unable to take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review.”

The Colonel-in-Chief typically takes the salute at the review, which occurred this morning.

It strongly suggests she will not be present at the main ceremony on June 15, though there’s a chance she could watch it from the Buckingham Palace balcony and not take an active role.

Her letter stated: “I wanted to write and let you know how proud I am of the entire Regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour.

“I appreciate everyone trooping this year has been practicing for months, and dedicating many hours to ensuring their uniforms and drill are immaculate.

“Being your Colonel remains a great honor, and I am very sorry that I’m unable to take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review.

“Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon.

“Please send my very best wishes and good luck to all involved. Quis separabit.”

“The Irish Guards were deeply touched to receive a letter from our Colonel, Her Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales this morning,” the Irish Guards stated in the X post.

“We are still sending our warmest regards and hoping for a speedy recovery for Her Royal Highness. Quis Separabit.

Given that the event was King Charles’ official birthday, Kate would have played a significant part.

Trolls about Princess Kate should quit since, according to experts, she’s a celebrity and will return to greater heights than before.

Except for the fact that some extra mounted cops ride in Trooping the Colour, The Colonel’s Review is exactly the same as The King’s Birthday Parade.

The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, comprising 400 musicians from the Massed Bands, and 1,400 troops from the Household Division participated in the procession escorted by Horse Guards.

Along the processional route along The Mall were 250 men from the Foot Guards.

Kate bravely revealed on Instagram that she was receiving treatment for an undisclosed malignancy in a video that she posted.

It was announced in January that she will be postponing all of her royal engagements in order to have serious stomach surgery.

According to palace sources, the Princess won’t stop recovering and resting until her doctor gave the all-clear.
