Meghan Markle ‘won’t set foot in the UK ever again’ despite Prince Harry’s deeper-than-ever homesickness

The couple, who withdrew from the Royal Family in 2020, reside in Montecito, California. They have faced strained relations with their royal relatives due to remarks disclosed in interviews and Harry’s autobiography, Spare. While Prince Harry is reportedly eager to mend the rift and reconcile with his family, it’s now known that his wife will ultimately decide whether they leave the US.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has stated that the former Suits actress will ‘have the final say’ on whether she and Prince Harry return to the UK.

When it comes to whether she and Prince Harry travel to the UK, Meghan Markle is rumored to “have final say.”

Meghan has the final word, the royal biographer clarified in an interview with The Sun. Harry wants to “show he is a devoted family man and prioritizes them above all else,” he underlined. The expert went on, “Meghan cannot be forced to go if she so chooses. Without her, Harry is very unlikely to bring the kids.

The remarks are related to Prince Harry’s planned trip to the UK in May of next year to celebrate the Invictus Games’ tenth anniversary. Meghan has expressed doubts about going with him, citing worries about her safety and possible family strife.

Since leaving her position as a royal in 2020, Meghan has made occasional trips to the UK, where she has attended occasions like the 2022 burial for Queen Elizabeth II. She did not, however, go to the coronation of King Charles III last year, which Harry attended by himself.

British commentator Esther Krakue speculated on GB News about Meghan’s potential visit, suggesting she may not join Harry due to concerns about drama and interactions with other members of the Royal Family, including the Princess of Wales.

“I believe she’s avoiding the UK to steer clear of drama and potential interactions, such as meeting [Princess] Kate,” Krakue remarked on the show. “I don’t think she’ll come because of Harry’s unresolved legal issues with the Home Office and his concerns about family safety. This period may solidify distance between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, especially as attention focuses on the Princess of Wales and the King’s recovery, without needing additional media scrutiny.”
